Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef said the public wishes to gather and express their confidence in President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s leadership.

He made the remarks while speaking to the media after a preparatory event held at the People’s National Congress (PNC) headquarters ahead of “Dhiveheenge Raajje” rally.

The Vice President said the rally is being organised in response to strong public enthusiasm, noting that many people want to come together in support of the President.

The PNC’s “Dhiveheenge Raajje” rally is scheduled to take place at Artificial Beach on the night of 14 November. It will be the first major rally held by the party since President Dr Muizzu assumed office.

PNC Parliamentary Group Leader MP Ibrahim Falah said a large turnout is expected. PNC, now the largest political party in the Maldives, is making extensive preparations for the event.
