Foreign Minister Dr Abdulla Khaleel has met with His Excellency Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, India’s Minister of Civil Aviation and Special Envoy of the Prime Minister. 

The meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between the Maldives and India. Foreign Minister Dr Khaleel welcomed Minister Naidu and expressed appreciation for India’s continued support towards the Maldives’ development priorities.

Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthen the close partnership between the two countries, with discussions centred on improving connectivity, expanding cooperation in civil aviation, and advancing mutually beneficial development initiatives.

Foreign Minister Dr Khaleel was joined by Foreign Secretary Fathimath Inaya, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Abdullah Hameed, Maldives’ High Commissioner to India Aishath Azeema, Joint Secretary Ibrahim Zuhuree, and Director Aishath Shahula.
