Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded the contract to develop the harbour in Kaafu Gulhi. The agreement was signed at a ceremony held to celebrate the completion of the island’s land reclamation and coastal protection project on 12 November, with Minister of Construction, Housing, and Infrastructure Dr Abdulla Muththalib signing on behalf of the Government and MTCC Managing Director Ahmed Saudhee representing the company. MTCC, which has completed numerous infrastructure projects in recent years, is currently undertaking several key development projects across the Maldives.
