Preparations are underway for the Magey Saafu Raajje National Conference 2025, which will take place in Laamu Gan, from 24–26 November. Organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, the conference aims to address key challenges in the waste management sector and explore sustainable solutions to strengthen environmental resilience across the Maldives. The Ministry stated that the event will gather senior Government officials, industry experts, and sector stakeholders to discuss strategies for improving waste management and advancing national sustainability goals.
