A high-level Saudi delegation comprising senior government officials and leading business figures arrived in the Maldives on Monday to discuss expanding investment cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation is led by Sara Al-Sayed, Deputy Minister for International Relations at the Saudi Ministry of Investment, and includes representatives from major Saudi business groups.

According to the Saudi Embassy in the Maldives, the three-day visit will include meetings with senior Maldivian Government officials and discussions focused on potential investment opportunities across key sectors.

The visit forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen economic ties between Saudi Arabia and the Maldives, with a focus on encouraging foreign investment and enhancing bilateral cooperation.
