President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has reaffirmed that his Administration will give equal priority to every request and concern raised by the public, stating that no citizen’s appeal will be overlooked.

Speaking at the Maafannu community meeting, the President said his Government is actively working to resolve issues submitted directly to him during island visits and meetings with residents of the capital. He noted that these submissions often include both community-wide challenges and personal concerns, all of which are being reviewed with special attention.

President Dr Muizzu emphasised that he has encouraged citizens to raise issues through letters and written submissions, stating that this approach allows individuals to present their concerns clearly and provides the Government with an efficient system for follow-up. According to the President, every letter handed to him during recent visits has been logged for action, and work is underway across relevant ministries to address them.

The President also highlighted that residents of Malé City, including those of Maafannu, will continue to have opportunities to voice their concerns directly, as part of the Administration’s commitment to accessibility and responsiveness.

In addition, President Dr Muizzu assured that those seeking one-on-one meetings with him will be accommodated, despite the limited time available in his schedule. He reiterated that the Government would take all necessary measures, within the legal and administrative framework, to respond meaningfully to every request.

The President concluded by stating that an Administration rooted in public service will listen without discrimination and work diligently to deliver solutions that reflect the needs of all citizens.
