The Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has highlighted the services available at the Maldives Police Service’s Cyber Crime Center, urging the public to seek assistance if they experience or suspect any form of digital abuse.

According to the PGO, the Cyber Crime Center is fully equipped to handle cyber-related offences and provides specialised support to victims. The centre’s trained team offers guidance to help individuals understand potential threats, safeguard their personal information and take appropriate next steps.

The public can contact the Cyber Crime Center through multiple channels, including its dedicated phone line at 9136262, email at [email protected], or the national emergency hotline 911 for urgent situations.

The PGO noted that reaching out for help can be difficult for victims of digital harm, but emphasised that no one has to navigate such situations alone. The office reiterated that support is available and encouraged individuals to come forward if they feel unsafe or require assistance.
