The Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has urged residents of Amaan Udhares to report any issues with their water bills.

In a statement, FDC said it has received reports from residents regarding unusually high charges reflected in the latest water bills for certain units. The corporation noted that it is currently working with the relevant authorities to determine the cause of the issue and is taking the necessary steps to resolve it.

Several social media posts have highlighted cases from the Amaan Udhared housing units, where some residents reported water bills exceeding MVR 7,000.

FDC advised residents who identify irregularities in their bills to lodge complaints through the company’s tenant portal or by email.

Some of the affected units have only recently been occupied, with residents moving in last month.
