The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has reported steady progress on the construction of the new 30-bed hospital in Kaafu Thulusdhoo, a development aimed at significantly improving healthcare services for the island’s more than 1,600 residents. According to MTCC, tie beam reinforcement, shuttering, and backfilling works are currently underway at the project site. Valued at MVR 101.7 million, the project represents a major investment in strengthening healthcare infrastructure in Thulusdhoo, which currently relies on a 24-hour health service centre.
