Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has launched a year-long campaign to mark its Silver Jubilee, commemorating 25 years since the establishment of the State-owned company.

The campaign, titled “Sea to Silver Shores”, was officially inaugurated by the Managing Director of Housing Development Corporation Ali Zuhair, at a special ceremony held at the corporation. HDC said the initiative will run throughout the year and will be open to public participation, alongside a series of activities aligned with the company’s annual programmes.

Speaking at the launch, the MD said HDC has made significant progress in national development within a relatively short period, noting that the milestone reflects the collective efforts of its workforce. He said the Silver Jubilee provides an opportunity to reflect on the scale of development achieved over the past 25 years, particularly in Hulhumalé, while also recognising the contribution of employees who supported the corporation’s growth.

As part of the campaign, HDC unveiled a commemorative Silver Jubilee logo, which was introduced by the Managing Director during the ceremony. The corporation has also launched a dedicated online platform for the campaign, where information on planned activities, updates, and public participation opportunities will be shared.
