President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended condolences to King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of Thailand following the passing of Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati.

In his message, President Dr Muizzu expressed profound sadness over the demise of Her Royal Highness and paid tribute to her distinguished service to the Kingdom of Thailand. He highlighted her dedication to public service, her advocacy for the rule of law and justice sector reform, and her commitment to the welfare of the Thai people.

The President stated that Princess Bajrakitiyabha's legacy of service and devotion would continue to inspire future generations.

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, President Dr Muizzu conveyed sincere condolences to His Majesty the King, the Royal Family, the Government, and the people of Thailand. He also wished strength and patience to all those mourning this significant loss.
