“Vote ah Thayyaaru” family evening was held in Hulhumalé Phase II to raise public awareness ahead of the upcoming Local Council and Women’s Development Committee elections, with the event taking place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Ruh’hgandu 3 in Hulhumalé Phase II. Organised by the Elections Commission as part of its pre-election outreach, the programme provided information on voter registration, changing polling stations, and opportunities to serve as election officials and task force members.

In addition to electoral awareness, the event featured children’s games, face painting and stage activities to encourage family participation. Representatives from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Human Rights Commission of the Maldives, and the Maldives Police Service.
