Employees of the Bank of Maldives (BML) have donated essential items to support vulnerable families as part of ARC Aid’s Ramadan initiative, helping distribute more than 100 care packs to households across the country.

The initiative, led by ARC Aid, focuses on assisting families with children with special needs and single mothers during the holy month. With contributions from BML staff, the programme has supported the families of more than 200 children this Ramadan.

The donated packs contained essential household and food items aimed at easing financial pressures during the fasting month, a time when many families face increased expenses.

BML employees extend support annually to charitable organisations during Ramadan. Last year, staff contributed to MOMS Aid, while ARC Aid has also received assistance from the Bank’s employees in recent years as part of their continued community engagement efforts.
