Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced that branch services will be available on two days during the final ten days of Ramadan.

In a notice post by the bank, BML stated that its branches will open on 11 March and 18 March, operating from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on both days. The limited opening is intended to facilitate essential banking services during the Government-declared holiday period.

BML confirmed that all digital banking services, including internet and mobile banking platforms, will remain fully operational throughout the final ten days of Ramadan. The bank also noted that branches will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during the first seven days of Shawwal.

Meanwhile, the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has announced it will also open on 11 March and 18 March to provide services to the public and financial institutions. The MMA will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on both days.

Although the final ten days of Ramadan are designated as official Government holidays, relevant institutions continue to arrange limited services annually to ensure continuity of essential public and financial services.
