The Department of National Registration (DNR) has announced that Maldivian national identity cards will be issued on four designated days during the final ten days of Ramadan.

Services will be available on 11, 15, 17 and 19 March from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on each of those days.

To facilitate access, the department has arranged for services to be provided at multiple locations. ID cards will be issued at the DNR Head Office in Malé, the Umar Zahir Building in Hulhumalé Phase I, Venarees Tower 2 in Hulhumalé Phase II, and the DNR office in Vilimalé. These special arrangements have been made to ensure public access to essential services during the holiday period.

The DNR further stated that individuals requiring urgent assistance may contact the department via its hotline at 7280368.
