President Dr Muizzu to attend “The Greater Addu” gathering in Malé City tonight

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu is attending the “The Greater Addu” gathering scheduled to take place in Malé City tonight as part of the People’s National Congress (PNC) preparations for the elections set for 4 April.
The 4 April vote will include Local Council elections, Women’s Development Committee elections, and a public referendum seeking citizens’ views on holding parliamentary and presidential elections concurrently.
The gathering will mark the launch of details of the Greater Addu vision. The PNC has invited residents of Addu City to attend the event.
The event, which will be attended by President Dr Muizzu in his capacity as PNC leader, is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. tonight at Artificial Beach.
As part of preparations for the elections, the PNC has been conducting various campaign activities. Campaign offices representing different cities have also been opened in Malé, including a campaign office for Addu City.
President Dr Muizzu has also been actively participating in campaign activities alongside candidates contesting in the council elections.
The Greater Addu gathering scheduled for tonight is expected to include announcements related to development initiatives for Addu. The Government is currently implementing several development projects in Addu City, which is the most populous city in the Maldives after Malé.
