A campaign initiative titled “Alaika Engeytha?” was officially launched on Monday night, in support of Uza Ashiyath Alaika Adhnan, the People’s National Congress (PNC) candidate for the President of the Malé City Women’s Development Committee (WDC).

The launch took place during a campaign event held at the Maafannu Bisburu area.

The digital quiz is designed to introduce the candidate to the electorate and outline her vision for the city ahead of the upcoming Malé City Council and Women’s Development Committee elections.

Scheduled to run from 10 March through 29 March, the initiative features a daily question related to the candidate, which participants can answer via the official website, www.alaika.mv. Submissions are accepted until 12:00 a.m. each night.

Campaign organisers stated that daily winners will be selected through a draw among participants who submit the correct answers. The names of the winners will be announced on the website the following day.

Daily prizes for the quiz are sponsored by VAV Pvt Ltd.

The quiz will conclude with a grand prize draw for an Umrah trip, eligible to those who have participated correctly throughout the duration of the contest.
