The ruling People’s National Congress (PNC) has commenced its final campaign rally, titled 'Rayyithunge Bodu Hingaalun', with thousands of supporters taking part in a mass march along Majeedhee Magu ahead of tomorrow’s elections.

The rally, currently underway on the capital’s main thoroughfare, is attended by PNC Leader and President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, along with First Lady Sajidha Mohamed, cabinet ministers, senior Government officials, parliament members and party members.

The event marks the party’s final major mobilisation effort as it concludes campaign activities ahead of the Local Council elections, Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections and the public referendum, with participants calling on voters to support PNC candidates and back the proposal to hold presidential and parliamentary elections simultaneously.
