President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended condolences following the passing of Moosa Rameez, widely known as Komandoo Moosa Rameez, a long-serving public servant from Shaviyani Atoll.

In a message shared on X, the President noted that Rameez served in various capacities within the atoll administration system, including roles in Shaviyani Atoll and Fuvahmulah, and also as a member of the People’s Majlis, contributing to local governance and public service over the years.

The President described Rameez as a dedicated individual who remained committed to serving the public, highlighting his role in supporting administrative functions across islands and atolls.

President Dr Muizzu extended condolences to Rameez’s family and the people of the atoll, and prayed that Almighty Allah grant him mercy and admit him into eternal paradise.
