The Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has released an updated user guide for its revamped MIRAconnect portal, offering taxpayers a comprehensive resource for navigating the platform and fulfilling their tax obligations with ease.

The updated guide provides detailed, step-by-step instructions for filing returns across multiple tax categories, including Income Tax, GST, Green Tax, and Airport Taxes and Fees. It also covers secure online payment methods through Bank of Maldives (BML), FaisaPay, Dhiraagu Pay, and Ooredoo M-Faisaa, along with a focus on payment tokenisation for enhanced transaction security.

In addition to filing and payment processes, the guide includes practical troubleshooting tips for common errors, ensuring users can quickly resolve issues and maintain compliance without delays. It also offers clear guidance on accessing and managing key features, such as generating tax clearance reports, viewing payment and filing history, and submitting supporting documents.
