Maldives Industrial Development Free Zone (MIDFZ) has partnered with Singapore-based Capital Asia Investments (CAI) to advance the Maldives Economic Gateway (MEG) project, aimed at transforming Thavandhippolhu into a logistics and commerce hub. The project, a key part of the government’s economic diversification plan, will operate under the Special Economic Zones framework to attract investment. CAI’s experience in infrastructure and strategic investments will be instrumental in driving sustainable growth and economic resilience for the Maldives.
