A highlight of the summit was the Best Minister in the World award, which recognises outstanding leadership in the public sector. The prestigious accolade was presented by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Minister for Defence of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai. The award celebrates government ministers who drive impactful reforms, demonstrate excellence in governance, and inspire future leaders.
During the session, His Excellency Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser to the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, addressed the audience. He spoke on pressing global political challenges, the urgent need to revitalise Bangladesh’s economy, and the strategic adjustments required for economic recovery under the country’s new administration.
Education also took centre stage at the event with the Global Teacher Prize 2025, an initiative launched in 2015 to honour the invaluable contributions of educators worldwide. The award was presented by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister for Defence of the UAE, further reinforcing the global commitment to recognising excellence in education.
