Following the signing ceremony, Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed posted on ‘X’, highlighting the Maldivian Government’s commitment to promoting local products in the global market. In this regard, he credited President Dr Mohamed Muizzu for delivering tangible economic benefits to the country and congratulated Ensis on this new trade venture.

The Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources further stated that Ensis products will also be available for online sales in China to enhance accessibility and consumer reach. The first shipment under this agreement is expected to be dispatched to China by mid-March.
