President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has embarked on a three-day official visit to all inhabited islands of Dhaalu Atoll.

As part of the visit, the President is scheduled to meet with heads of Island Councils, Women’s Development Committees, and key institutional representatives. Discussions are expected to focus on development initiatives and local concerns. Additionally, he will oversee the launch of several rural development projects and inaugurate completed infrastructure projects within the atoll.

The visit aligns with the President’s commitment to reaching out to communities and understanding their challenges firsthand. His Administration has pledged to visit every inhabited island twice during the current presidential term. Notably, he has previously met with all island councils in the atoll, except for one, to discuss development plans and community progress.

Accompanying the President on this tour are several ministers and senior officials from state-owned enterprises, reflecting the Government’s emphasis on a collaborative approach to regional development.

The President is expected to return to Malé on Tuesday following the completion of his visit to all the islands in Dhaalu Atoll.
