The Technical team lead by the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure, MTCC and the expert team appointed by the Chinese government held a meeting to discuss the Villimalé and Malé road redevelopment project.

This meeting, held at the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure, focused on the road assessment conducted to evaluate the current condition of the roads.

The Ministry stated that the road assessment, a critical step in the redevelopment project, began on 4th November and concluded on 21st November. During this period, the condition of the roads in Malé and Villimalé were assessed, and the necessary data for the redevelopment was collected.

The project is expected to enhance the quality of the roads and improve the transportation system in both Malé and Villimalé.
