The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Dr Abdulla Khaleel, has extended warm congratulations to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation of the Republic of Suriname, Albert R. Ramdin, on the occasion of Suriname's Independence Day.

Minister Dr Khaleel conveyed his heartfelt greetings to Minister Ramdin, the Government and the people of Suriname. He noted that, as fellow Small Island Developing States (SIDS), he was confident that the bonds of friendship and collaboration between the two nations would continue to strengthen in the future.

The Minister concluded his message by extending his best wishes for Minister Ramdin's good health and well-being, as well as for the continued peace and prosperity of the Surinamese people.
