The Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has opened a new shop in Malé North Harbour, marking its fourth retail outlet in the capital.

The shop was officially inaugurated by MIFCO’s Sales Manager, Abdulla Rasheed, at a ceremony held at the new location. Positioned in one of the busiest commercial zones in the city, the outlet is expected to serve as a key hub for traders transporting goods to the islands.

According to MIFCO, the decision to open a shop in North Harbour was driven by the need to streamline services for inter-island traders and ensure more efficient delivery of products. The outlet will stock a wide range of commonly demanded fish products, including a variety of tuna cans and smoked tuna. Additional products can be made available based on customer demand.

The shop will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Fridays and non-Government holidays, offering a convenient option for traders conducting business.
