The Maldivian delegation walked out of the United Nations General Assembly Hall in protest as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began his address, joining over 100 diplomats from over 50 countries in a coordinated demonstration. Foreign Minister Dr Abdulla Khaleel, in a statement X, reaffirmed the Maldives’ unwavering stance, declaring that the country will always stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine.
