President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the new headquarters of the People’s National Congress (PNC) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the party operates responsibly and in line with democratic principles. 

He made the remarks at the inauguration of the new headquarters in H. Veyo Villa, noting that the office would serve as an important platform for strengthening party organisation and ensuring its activities are carried out efficiently and transparently. The President emphasised that the headquarters would be managed in accordance with democratic values.

President Dr Muizzu also expressed appreciation to all those who contributed to the completion of the building and supported its use by party members. He highlighted that the development of the headquarters is a significant milestone for the party.

During the event, the President referred to a PNC meeting held at Artificial Beach earlier, where key Government initiatives were outlined. He said the overall situation was progressing smoothly and added that further details on the Government’s work and future plans would be presented in his Presidential Address scheduled for 5 February.
