The second phase of the road development project in Alifu Dhaalu Mahibadhoo has begun under a contract awarded to the Road Development Corporation (RDC). The work was launched during President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s visit to the island as part of his ongoing tour of Alifu Dhaalu Atoll and was inaugurated by Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Dr Abdulla Muththalib. The project forms part of the Government’s plan to modernise island roads nationwide, with drainage systems to be built alongside the road infrastructure.
