The Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources has announced that all applications for fishing licences will now be processed through the Keyolhu portal.

According to the Ministry, applications for new fishing licences will be accepted through the online portal from 4 November, while renewal applications will be accepted from 23 November. The portal can be accessed using an individual’s eFaas account.

A detailed guide on how to apply for and renew licences via the Keyolhu portal has been published on the Ministry’s official website to assist applicants.

In addition, the Ministry stated that applications for the newly permitted gulpar shark fishing licence will also be accepted through the portal.

The Keyolhu portal is already used by the Ministry to manage various fisheries-related services, including applications for fish and fish product licences, submission of fish purchase data by companies, and the issuance of catch certificates for fish exports.
