A staff member of the National Drug Agency (NDA), arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs to patients undergoing rehabilitation, has been remanded in custody for 15 days.

The suspect, who works as a peer mentor at the NDA, was arrested on Thursday on allegations of providing drugs to patients and maintaining inappropriate relationships with individuals in rehabilitation.

According to the Police, the case was filed by the NDA on 4 November, after which he was taken into custody under a court order.

In an update on Friday, the Police confirmed that the court ordered a 15-day remand after he was presented for a hearing.

The case remains under active investigation.
