State Trading Organization (STO) has announced a series of special promotions and prize-winning activities to celebrate its 61st anniversary, offering customers opportunities to receive discounts and prizes across its business segments.

As part of the celebrations, STO Construction Solutions is conducting a special sale at the Makita Showroom in Malé and the Construction Solutions Showroom in Hulhumalé. The sale offers discounts of up to 70 per cent on selected products and will run until 21 December 2025. STO said special prizes will also be awarded to the top two vendors from the two showrooms during the promotional period.

STO People’s Choice is also organising anniversary-related activities, including a draw in which one customer will win a Philips sound bar. The winner is scheduled to be announced on 20 December 2025.

In addition to sales and giveaways, STO said it will celebrate its 61st anniversary with a range of activities across the Malé and Hulhumalé regions, with updates to be shared through the organisation’s official social media platforms.

One of the key highlights of this year’s anniversary celebrations is a scavenger hunt organised by STO. Under the initiative, participants are required to complete a challenge using clues posted on STO’s social media pages and hidden at selected STO outlets, including STO People’s Choice, the Makita Showroom in Malé, and the STO Wholesale Centre. The first participant to complete the challenge will receive a special prize from popular STO brands such as Hitachi or Dyson.
