First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has shared a message to mark National Unity Day, offering prayers for continued unity and resilience among Maldivians.

In a post shared on her official X account, the First Lady offered prayers that Maldivians would remain united, compassionate, supportive, and courageous. She also sought divine protection, guidance, and mercy for the nation.

National Unity Day commemorates the solidarity shown by Maldivians following the 26 December 2004 tsunami, when people across different islands came together with compassion and extraordinary courage to overcome the disaster.
