The Elections Commission of Maldives is conducting walk-in interviews on Saturday to recruit staff for next year’s Local Council Elections and Women’s Development Committee elections.
The interviews will be held from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Saturday at Kalaafaanu School. Walk-in interviews were also conducted on Friday at Kaamil Didi Primary School in Hulhumalé Phase II.
The Elections Commission said recruitment is open for a range of roles related to election administration, including Human Resources, Administration, Media, Public Relations, Information Technology, Finance, and Legal services. Applicants attending the walk-in interviews are required to bring their national ID card, educational certificates, and a copy of their curriculum vitae.
The walk-in interview process will include the provision of information on available job opportunities, completion of application forms, registration, and initial screening of applicants. Eligible candidates will be interviewed, and practical tests will be conducted based on the skills required for specific positions.
The Commission also noted that individuals interested in serving as polling station officials will be provided with information on how to apply through the official recruitment portal.
Similar walk-in interviews were held in August this year to recruit staff for the Local Council Elections and Women’s Development Committee elections, during which more than 250 applications were received, the Commission said.
