The National Hotels and Guesthouses Association (NHGAM), the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), and the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) are collaborating to promote the Maldives in Azerbaijan and Georgia.

In a statement, the Guesthouse Association announced that the ‘I AM Maldives Roadshow’ will take place from December 17 to 20, 2024, visiting Baku, Azerbaijan, and Tbilisi, Georgia. The initiative aims to highlight the Maldives as a premier tourist destination in the region, tapping into the growing interest from these markets.

The roadshow will feature 18 participants, including Maldivian resorts, hotels, guesthouses, and travel agencies, showcasing the diverse range of offerings available to travellers. This event is part of a broader effort to expand the Maldives’ global tourism footprint.
