The AA Rasdhoo Council expressed their gratitude to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu for the Government’s housing initiatives during a meeting at the Secretariat of Rasdhoo Island Council.

The Council acknowledged the positive impact of these efforts on the community and emphasised their importance in addressing the island’s housing needs.

The meeting, which also included the Women’s Development Committee (WDC), focused on key development priorities for Rasdhoo, including tackling coastal erosion, constructing 50 additional housing units, and improving ice availability for fishermen.

President Muizzu assured attendees of the Government’s commitment to addressing these challenges. He pledged full support for projects that enhance the local economy and improve the quality of life for residents.

Government officials accompanying the President provided updates on ongoing development projects in Rasdhoo, underlining progress made so far. The President reaffirmed the Administration’s dedication to supporting community-driven initiatives and promoting sustainable growth.
