Maldives Immigration has officially opened a new regional office in Kulhudhuffushi City to strengthen service delivery and improve working conditions for officers in the northern region. 

The office was inaugurated by Deputy Controller General of Immigration Ahmed Ashfan, who said the new facility provides a permanent solution to space constraints faced by staff and will significantly enhance the working environment. The new office is also expected to improve access to immigration services for residents of the region and raise overall service quality. With the opening of the Kulhudhuffushi office, Immigration now operates two regional offices, the other being located in Hithadhoo, Addu City.
