The Privatization and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has announced the dismissal of Nashwa Abdulla from her position as Chairperson and Member of the Board of Directors of Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Limited.

The PCB, which serves as the parent body of state-owned enterprises, announced the decision in a post on X. The statement confirmed her removal from both roles but did not provide a reason for the dismissal.

Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation plays a key role in the Government’s housing programme. Under the administration’s housing pledge, the corporation has developed 4,000 flats in Hulhumalé. The housing units are nearing completion and are expected to be made accessible to the public.

The PCB has not announced any further changes to the company’s board following the dismissal.
