Former Member of Parliament Abdulla Jabir has joined the People’s National Congress, confirming that he submitted his membership application to the Elections Commission on Thursday.

Jabir said he decided to join the ruling party to support the policies of President DR Mohamed Muizzu and to contribute to their implementation, adding that he aligns with the Administration’s direction and is committed to working towards its objectives.

He has been actively involved in PNC activities in recent days, including participating in campaign efforts during the local council and Women’s Development Committee elections held this month.

Jabir previously served as the Member of Parliament for the Kaashidhoo constituency in the 19th Parliament.
