First Lady Sajidha Mohamed on Monday visited the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children as part of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s ongoing State Visit to Sri Lanka.

The Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children is the largest free paediatric hospital in Sri Lanka and serves as a key centre for child healthcare in the country.

The First Lady was received by the hospital’s management and briefed on its services before touring several wards, including orthopaedic and plastic surgery, as well as paediatric surgery.

She also signed the hospital’s guestbook, noting the institution’s role in providing specialised care for children.
