Registration has opened for the MSME Pitch Up competition being organised as part of this year's MSME Day celebrations, with participants set to compete for a cash prize of MVR 10,000.

The competition, organised by Business Centre Corporation (BCC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade, is open to youth aged between 18 and 25. Participants are required to compete in teams of two, with registration limited to the first 10 teams.

Scheduled to take place from 23 to 27 June, the competition will provide participants with an opportunity to present innovative business ideas and develop entrepreneurial and presentation skills. The winning team will receive MVR 10,000. Interested participants can register by scanning the QR code shared on BCC's official social media platforms. Registration will close at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

The competition is being held as part of efforts to encourage entrepreneurship among young people and support the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises in the Maldives.
