The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has appointed Saadha Ibrahim as Chairperson and a member of the Board of Directors of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

The appointment was confirmed by the PCB, which oversees the boards of State-owned enterprises. Saadha replaces Mohamed Afeef Hussain, who has been appointed Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation.

MTCC is one of the country's largest State-owned enterprises, with operations spanning transport, infrastructure development, construction and engineering services across the Maldives.

The latest appointment follows recent changes to the leadership of several State-owned companies as the Government continues to restructure and strengthen the management of public enterprises.
