The Government has strongly condemned the recent ballistic missile attacks targeting civilian sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government described the attacks as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a serious threat to regional security and stability.

The Maldives reaffirmed its full solidarity with the government and people of Saudi Arabia and expressed support for all measures undertaken by the Kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.

The Government also reiterated the importance of continued dialogue and diplomacy to build on recent progress, prevent renewed tensions, and preserve peace, security and stability in the region.
