The oneGov platform has introduced 198 new Government services over the past two and a half years, MINDCo, the company responsible for developing and maintaining the platform, has revealed.

Information shared by the company with MMTV under the Right to Information Act shows work on the platform began in 2021, with efforts focused on integrating services from different government institutions through agreements with the relevant agencies. When oneGov was officially launched on 10 July 2023, it provided access to 308 Government services.

Since then, the Government has continued expanding the platform as part of its digitalisation policy. A total of 92 new services were added in 2024, followed by 84 in 2025. A further 22 services were introduced by the end of June this year.

MINDCo said integrating a service into oneGov involves reviewing the business processes of the relevant institution, digitising its workflows and ensuring its systems are compatible with the platform. It noted that considerable technical work is required before a service can be made available to the public through oneGov.

The company said newly integrated services include those provided by government companies, ministries, and other State institutions. Some council services have also been made available through the platform.

Following the assumption of office by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, the Government placed greater emphasis on digitalising public services. As part of that policy, priority has been given to enabling access to Government services through a single platform while improving interoperability between different government systems.

MINDCo Managing Director Saeedha Umar previously said the company's target is to make 70 per cent of services provided by Government institutions available through oneGov by the end of 2026. The company also aims to make 40 per cent of council services accessible through the platform by the same period.
