The Vice President of the Maldives, Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef, has officially inaugurated one of the country’s largest Food and Beverage (F&B) exhibitions.
Organised by High Rise Events, the F&B show is being held at Hulhumalé Central Park and will run until January 26, 2025.
As part of the opening ceremony, the Vice President toured the exhibition, visiting the various stalls and engaging with exhibitors. He took the opportunity to learn about the wide range of food items and services on display, highlighting the importance of supporting local F&B businesses.
This year’s Food and Beverage Show has drawn participation from more than 40 businesses, showcasing an impressive selection of culinary offerings and industry-related products. The event is designed to promote the services of F&B professionals while creating a platform for businesses to connect with potential customers and expand their market reach.
Open to the public, the exhibition offers visitors a chance to explore a variety of products, experience live demonstrations, and enjoy special promotions from participating companies. From food and beverages to kitchen appliances, the range of items on display reflects the diversity of the Maldivian F&B industry.
Adding to the excitement, the event features an array of engaging activities for attendees. These include interactive sessions with panellists, a pizza-eating competition, a cake decoration contest, and a baking competition. Organisers have also planned entertainment activities to ensure a lively atmosphere throughout the event.
High Rise Events, the organisers, have tailored the show to cater specifically to F&B businesses across the Maldives, including wholesalers, retailers, and manufacturers.
The exhibition runs daily in two sessions: from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. With its vibrant schedule and extensive participation, this year’s Food and Beverage Show promises to be a major highlight for both industry professionals and visitors alike.
