President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and Foreign Minister Dr Abdulla Khaleel have extended greetings to Lithuania on the occasion of its Restoration of State Day.

President Dr Muizzu conveyed his well wishes to Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas, and the people of Lithuania, expressing hope for their continued progress and prosperity. His message marked the annual commemoration of Lithuania’s independence, which was restored with the signing of the Act of Independence on February 16, 1918.

Similarly, Foreign Minister Khaleel sent a congratulatory message to Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys on behalf of the Maldivian Government and people. He highlighted the desire to further enhance cooperation and friendly relations between the two nations.
