The Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, Thoriq Ibrahim, has stated that comprehensive efforts are being undertaken to restore electricity services in Malé, Hulhumalé, and Hulhulé following recent disruptions.

He stated on X that the matter is currently under investigation to determine the underlying causes, and necessary measures are being implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Minister Thoriq also extended his sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to residents in the affected areas. He assured the public that all possible resources are being mobilised to restore services swiftly and efficiently.
