A 41-year-old man was found dead at a residence in Malé this morning, according to the Maldives Police Service.

Police stated that the man was discovered unconscious at a residence in Machchangoalhi, Malé, and was immediately taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH). He was confirmed dead upon arrival at the hospital.

An investigation into the case has been launched.
