Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and representative for the Dhiggaru constituency, Ahmed Nazim, has departed for an official visit to China to participate in two major regional events.

Deputy Speaker Nazim is attending the 6th South Asia-China Cooperation Forum and the 9th South Asia-China Expo, both taking place from June 17 to 21 in Kunming, China.

During the visit, he is scheduled to deliver addresses at both the forum and the expo. The trip is being funded by the Chinese government.

Accompanying the Deputy Speaker are two Members of Parliament: Ismail Nizar of Feydhoo North and Mohamed Abbas of Velidhoo.
